About the Shelter

The Shelter for Children is a licensed service recognized by the Law on Social Protection, with the aim of improving the quality of life for children living or working on the streets. The service users of the Shelter are children aged 5 to 15 years who face multiple risks due to their way of life.

The users are provided with regular, nutritionally balanced meals, clean clothing, and weather-appropriate footwear. They receive support during their education and integration into the educational system. The Shelter offers a safe environment that caters to their needs and nurtures their psychosocial development. The children can also participate in various creative, educational, cultural, and sports activities.

Additionally, the users and their families benefit from a team of expert fieldworkers who regularly visit the places where the children live, work, or spend time. This fieldwork strengthens the trust relationship with the users and their families. The expert team at the Shelter consists of social workers, special educators, and a medical nurse, all of whom share a common mission to provide support and protection to the Shelter’s users, always prioritizing the best interests of the child.

Our Donation

This generous contribution marks one of our larger donations. We deeply admire the commendable work of this institute, which is why we chose to provide essential items such as shoes, socks, underwear, shampoos, and lice shampoos as our donation. It brings us great joy to support this wonderful organization, and we eagerly look forward to collaborating with them again in the future.
