Donation to Osnovna Škola “Vuk Karadžić” in Višegrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina

We are proud to share the successful completion of another heartwarming project — this time in the picturesque town of Višegrad, located in eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our team delivered humanitarian aid to Osnovna škola “Vuk Karadžić”, a primary school that serves around 600 students.

📦 What We Donated

With a total donation value of 4,262.68 BAM (approx. $2,580.00 USD), we were able to provide the school with much-needed educational and recreational materials, based on what teachers requested directly:

📚 “Robinson Crusoe” Books — 30 pcs

⚽ Soccer Balls — 6 pcs
🏐 Volleyballs — 6 pcs
📽️ Projector — 1 pc
🔖 Whiteboard Erasers — 10 pcs
🖊️ Markers (Black, Blue, Red) — 30 pcs

In August, we will also be delivering a work tool set (valued at an additional 300–400 EUR) which could not be delivered earlier. We will update this blogpost once it has arrived!

🤝 A Joint Effort with Sava Gastro Events

This project was made possible through a wonderful partnership with Sava Gastro Events from Switzerland. During their event in St. Gallen, they raised 1,350 CHF, which was generously donated to support this project.

💬 A Message from the School

The director of Osnovna škola “Vuk Karadžić” shared that the students are not only doing well academically but also show a rare sense of kindness and good manners — and that bullying is almost non-existent at the school. When Saveta and Diana visited, accompanied by Marija, who lives in Višegrad and volunteered to help, they felt deeply welcomed and touched by the warmth and gratitude of the teachers and staff.

We could truly feel how much this donation meant to the school and the community.
